Start / finish

The race starts and finishes at the Place Anatole France in the heart of Tours.
Start time: 9am
Athletes with disabilities: 8.50 am
There is a maximum time limit to complete the Marathon of 6 hours.

How to go from a place to another

Railway station - City Hall - Running Number Collect - Departure/arrival area

From Tours railway station :
- 10 minutes by car
- 10 minutes with the free shuttles that will be available at the railway station (> more information)

To Place Anatole-France : race departure/arrival area

From Tours railway station :
- 18 minutes walk
- 7 minutes by car

Streetcar : during the race the traffic will be modified in the city center. Closest stops will be “Tranchée” and/or “Gare de Tours” (www.filbleu.fr)

At the Start Line...

Access to all of the Start Zones is at Place Anatole France.
Depending on your target finish time (3h00, 3h 30, 3h45, 4h00, 4h30 or more) you'll be given a colored running number. A race official will hold a flag with your corresponding running number color and will wait for you 15 to 30 min prior to your scheduled start time.
The target finish time colors are as follows:

Refueling drinking stations

The Organizers will provide drinking and sponge stations for runners every 5 km along the route, as well as a drinking station in the Paella Party area.
First Aid Medical support will be available every 5km along the TLV Marathon course and at the Finish area.

Baggage area

The baggage area will be located near the start, at place Anatole France. It will be open on Sunday 20st September 2015 from 7AM to 4.30PM. Race participants may leave warm-up clothing, bags etc... Here for free. Belongings must be claimed shortly following the race. The TLV Marathon is not responsible for personal belongings.

Prizes

Winners' Cups and Trophies will be presented by the Organizers and Sponsors during the official ceremony at the Nouvelle Republique's podium from 12h30.
Prizes will be given in each different category - Men's, Women's, Athletes with Disabilities, Elite, Veteran's...

Marathon Charity Program

solidaire The Touraine Loire Valley Marathon supports "Vaincre la mucoviscidose". This association collects funds to fight against Cystic Fibrosis and to inform people about the disease. Marathon runners can help too !!
Sunday 20st September 2015, the three races are part of the National Day of Action "Les Virades de l'espoir"
By running for this association, you will be giving more breath to those who need it!
